Granite Bay Campground Folsom Lake State Recreation Area California

Granite Bay Overview

Granite Bay (Folsom Lake Recreation Area) has 15 boat-in primitive campsites along the beach of Folsom Lake.  There area also 2 group (reservable) picnic sites (up to 100 people) that have tables, a large BBQ, flush toilets and water faucets.

Granite Bay also has an activity center, boat ramp, boat trailer lot and boat rentals. The activity center also has a snack shop and rents kayaks, paddle boards, volleyball sets, shade canopies and rafts. Cell service is good in the area.

Granite Bay Campground – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, fishing, water sports, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also good in the area.

Other Folsom Lake SRA campgrounds include Beals Point, Black Miners Bar and Peninsula.
