Grays Meadow consists of an upper and lower campground with the creek bordering one side of the campground in the Onion Valley area.   The Upper Campground has 35 campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, storage locker, fire ring and grate. Most of the campground is located in a large oak grove, providing shade. Campsites 10, 12, 13  and 14 are closest to the water.

Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available for purchase from the campground host. Cell service is poor in the area.

Popular outdoor activities include backpacking, hiking, fishing and picnicking There’s also abundant wildlife in the area, including black bear, mountain lions, mule deer, pine marten, pika and many species of fish and birds.
