Gray’s Peak Group Camp is at an elevation of 7,132 feet about 1.5 miles west of Fawnskin and Big Bear Lake in a remote area of the San Bernardino National Forest.
The group camp is for tent camping and can accommodate up to 40 people and 8 vehicles. RV vehicles (up to 23 feet) are allowed in the parking area. The site has several tables, a campfire circle, grills and vault toilets. Drinking water and trash collection are not provided. Please pack in/out everything.
Other campgrounds in the area include Hanna Flat and Serrano.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, stargazing and wildlife viewing. Fish, boating and other water sports are also popular at nearby Big Bear Lake.
