Green Creek Campground has 11 first-come first-serve campsites and is located next to Green Creek in a forested area of the Eastern Sierra. Aspens and pine trees provide good shade to the campsites that are nicely spread out in the campground.
The campground is generally open late April to early October. Amenities include 2 vault toilets and trash collection. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Firewood can be purchased from the camp host. Cell service is also not available in the area. Each campsite also has a gravel parking spur, table, food storage locker (bear box), fire ring and grill.
Green Creek Group Campground is located nearby and has two group sites for 25 and 30 people. The group campground is reservable.
The campground is located at the end of the road and along the creek and offers a variety of outdoor recreation. Visitors can enjoy fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, kayaking, stargazing and wildlife viewing. Dogs are okay on the trails in the area. The trailhead for the Hoover Wilderness can be access from the campground and it leads to Green Lake, continue on to Yosemite National Park.
