Green Valley (Lake) Campground has 37 single family (mixed-used) campsites spread out in two loops among a nice forest of pine trees.
Most sites have shade. Site 34/34 is a double site. A season creek runs through the campground and a small lake is located about 2 miles away. The campground has drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill. Cell service is generally not very good at the campground.
The campground is one mile from the campground and offers some pretty good trout fishing. There are also nice hiking and biking trails in the area. Green Valley Lake campground is about 8 miles from the town of Running Springs and offers a nice base camp area to explore the San Bernardino National Forest including Arrowhead and Big Bear Lakes.
Dogwood Campground, North Shore, Crab Flats Campground and Fisherman’s Group Camp are also in the area.

I made reservations for sites #32 & 33 – says tent only but i think that is a mistake as I’ve been to this campground before – we have a teardrop trailer less than 10ft. is that okay?
Hi Z,
Green Valley Lake campsites #32 and #33 are designated as tent only with a maximum vehicle length of up to 10 feet in each site. So, I doubt you’ll be allowed to park a vehicle and a 10ft. teardrop trailer in either of those sites. However, the ultimate call will be from the camp host.
After looking at the photo our teardrop is very small and as long as both vehicles are on the pavement and not in the street at all, it is okay correct? I spoke to a camp ranger at the campground a few weeks ago and they said it was okay.
Also, is there overnight parking anywhere nearby for overflow vehicles? Thank you.
and is there a direct line to the campground I can call? Thank you!

Lastly, can we being up our own kayaks on the lake?
Can we bring our own kayaks on the lake? I can’t get in touch with anyone at the lake that can answer this for me. Thanks!
