Greenville Campground Plumas National Forest California

Greenville Overview

Greenville Campground is located in the Plumas National Forest (Sierra Nevada) near Wolf Creek and next to the world famous Greenville horseshoe pits. The campground is first-come first-served. It has 17 campsites for tents, trailers and small RVs (up to 30 feet). It’s also about 9 miles from Lake Almanor.

Amenities include vault toilets, drinking water, a picnic and BBQ area.  Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Most sites are large and set among a beautiful pine forest.  None of the campsites have hookups and there is no group campsites here.

Outdoor recreation in the are includes biking, hiking, boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, wildlife viewing, exploring historic sites, horseback riding and horseshoes! The town of Greenville is also closeby and has groceries, supplies, gas, or shop around.

Almanor South campground is just 17 miles away and over on Almanor Lake.
