I’ve done alot of camping, and by far this was the most disappointing campground. I knew there would be freeway noise, but what bugged me was that they recently cut down all the trees, like all of them, so the pictures of the space I booked were not accurate. I specifically booked thinking we could hammock in our space right there by the water, but no. No shade, no privacy, spaces are super small, and equipment is all old, dusty, falling apart, and not well maintained.
Sorry to hear about that DP – that they cut down the trees at Hampshire Rocks. We will try and schedule a photographer to get new photographs soon.
