Hensley Lake Hidden View Campground has 53 campsites single family campsites along the shores of Hensley Lake in the foothills of central California. There are 21 campsites with electrical hookups. All campsites are within easy walking distance of the lake and boat ramp. Group camping is also available.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers ($) and a dump station. Each campsite also has a table, lantern post, fire ring and grate. Some sites have shade structures and other sites have shade from large trees. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Other amenities include a boat ramp, fish cleaning stations, a playground, picnic area and miles of multi-use trails.
The 1,500-acre lake was created by the construction of Hidden Dam on the Fresno River. With over 20 miles of shoreline, it is a popular vacation spot for families and those who enjoy water activities. Outdoor recreation includes swimming, boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. It is also a short drive to Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, as well as Sierra National Forest.
Millerton Lake SRA is also 22 miles away. The campground has 135 campsites.
