Hornswoggle Group Campground California

Hornswoggle Group Overview

Hornswoggle Group Campground has 5 sites for groups and is located near the New Bullard’s Bar Reservoir in the Tahoe National Forest. There are 4 group sites that can accommodate up to 25 people, and 1 group site that will fit up to 50 people.

Each group site has tables, food storage lockers, fire rings and grills. Campground amenities include piped drinking water, flush toilets (and one vault) and trash collection. Cell Service is fair. The Dark Day boat ramp is also about 1/2 mile from the campground.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, water sports, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Schoolhouse, Fiddle Creek and Dark Day.
