Indian Valley Campground has 17 campsites nestled along the north bank of the North Yuba River in the Tahoe National Forest. Keep your eyes out for otters and they have been re-introduced to the river a few years back.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Most sites have nice shade from oak, fir pine and madrone trees. Each site also has a table, food storage box, fire ring and grate. Amenities include potable (drinking) water and vault toilets.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, mountain biking, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Seasonal kayaking and rafting are also popular in the area.
Other campgrounds in the area include Cal-Ida, Carlton, Fiddle Creek and Rocky Rest.
