Junction Campground has 14 small campsites near Tuolumne Meadows and the Tioga Pass / East entrance of Yosemite National Park. All sites are first-come, first-serve. Lee Vining Creek and Mine Creek also flow past the campground. The area offers amazing views of the mountains, is close to Tioga Lake, and easy access to Yosemite National Park.  You can also enjoy hiking, biking and wildlife viewing in the area.

The campground is small, primitive and fills up just about every weekend. Campsites 1-5 can accommodate trailers and RVs and the rest are best for tent camping (small vehicles).  A few of the sites have a short walk from parking area to camping area.

No drinking water is available, so bring your own. Delightful vault toilets are available. Each campsite also has a table, food storage locker, grill and grate. Cell service is poor in the area. Firewood is available to purchase from the camp host.

Other campgrounds in the area include Sawmill (walk-to / tent only), Moraine, Aspen (Aspen Grove), Big Bend, Ellery Lake Campground, Saddlebag Lake  Trailhead Group and Tioga Lake. Another option would be Tuolumne Meadows campground (reservations recommended).
