Juniper Lake Stock Corral Overview

Juniper Lake Stock Corral campground has 2 group-equestrian campsites and is located on the east shore of Juniper Lake in Lassen Volcanic National Park. Up to 10 people, 8 animals and 4 vehicles (with trailers) per site.

The campground is generally open late June to late October. Reservations and backcountry permits are required for all horse/stock use in the park.

The campground does not have potable water for humans, but does have vault toilets. The campsites have tables, food storage lockers, fire rings and grates. There are also two corrals (with water troughs)and hitching posts. Owners/campers must bring their own feed (no grazing).

Juniper Lake Stock Corral – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation in the area includes horseback riding, hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, picnicking, mountain biking and wildlife viewing.

Although no equestrian campsites are available, you may also be interested in Summit Lake North or Summit Lake South campgrounds.
