Kinnikinnick Overview

Kinnikinnick Campground has 27 campsites and is located on a hillside overlooking Huntington Lake in the Sierra National Forest. Some of the campsites have views of the lake. Each site also has a table, fire ring and food storage locker. The campground roads and parking pads are paved. Double campsites include 2, 3, 8, 11, 15, 20 and 24. The campground is open June through September and also has drinking water and flush toilets.

Our favorite campsites photos are: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 19 and 20.

Kinnikinnick Campground and Huntington Lake offer a variety of outdoor activities including fishing, boating, sailing, swimming, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing and exploring the historic sites in the area. The lake also has a marina and boat rentals. There are a few stores and restaurants in the area.

Other campgrounds around Huntington Lake are: Deer Creek, Catavee, Lower Billy Creek, Upper Billy Creek, College and Rancheria,
