Lake Alpine – Lodgepole Group Overview

Lodgepole (Lake Alpine) Campground has 22 campsites about 1.5 miles from Lake Alpine in Stanislaus National Forest. There are 22 single-family campsites and 2 group campsites.

The campground is generally open early June to late September. The group sitesĀ  (A & B) can accommodate up to 50 people. There are also 20 single-family campsites. Tents, trailers and RVs are okay for any of the single-family or group campsites. Parking spurs are dirt and range in size from 20 to 46 feet. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection.Cell service is poor in the area.

Hot showers and laundromat available at nearby Lake Alpine Lodge. No electricity or hook-ups. Pets are welcome. Firewood, camping and fishing supplies, food, and apparel is available in the general store at Lake Alpine Lodge.

Other campgrounds in the area include Pine Marten, Silver Valley, Silver Tip, and Lake Alpine West Shore and Mosquito Lakes.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, OHV trail riding, horseback riding, swimming, water sport, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
