Lake Camanche North Shore campgrounds have 246 developed campsites situated along the shore and hillsides of beautiful Lake Camanche. There are also 20 primitive shoreline campsites and 7 secluded boat-in campsites at Eagle Beach. Equestrian camping is also available. Lake Camanche is a very popular area and includes 54 miles of shoreline with a variety of outdoor recreational activities.
Blue Oaks Campground has 141 single-family campsites and 4 group sites. Some campsites are right along the shore and others are on a hill. All have nice views of the like. Campsites 4-31 are family-friendly (no alcohol). Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, laundry and a dump station. There’s also a picnic area, playground and basketball court. Sites also have a table, fire ring and grate.
Peninsula Campground has 20 large and level campsites located on the shoreline for self-contained campers (tents, trailers and RVs). There is no water, but vault toilets are provided. It’s a short drive to restrooms with flush toilets and showers. Campsites also have a table, fire ring and grate.
Rabbit Creek Campground has 29 primitive campsites. There are 13 right along the shore and 16 close to the shoreline. These sites are also for self-contained campers (tents, trailers and RVs). There is not water, but vault toilets are available. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.
With 54 miles of shoreline and 7,700 surface areas of water, visitors can enjoy a wide-range of outdoor recreation activities. On the water recreation includes boating, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, sailing, windsurfing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking and house boating. Other land-based recreation includes hiking, biking, fishing, picnicking, horseback riding and wildlife viewing. The China Gulch trail (about 10 miles total) is popular for hikers and horseback riders at Lake Comanche North Shore.
Lake Camanche South Shore has 11 campgrounds, and you may also be interested in the campgrounds at Tuttletown Recreation Area.

We hope to have a photographer get Lake Camanche North Shore campground later next month, and post the photos soon after.
They now have South Shore open, we are going camping in 2 weeks at Monument. How do you get the pictures for this website? I can take pics of the campground sites and send them to you?

hi I have been calling for about 2 months trying to get 2 camping sites reserved and still haven’t received a call back please help if I go on line the credit card wont take any of my cards.
