Do you sell propane there? Or can you refill propane?
Hi April,
Yes, the store/gas station at Lake Skinner does sell propane and/or you can refill your tank.
Do you rent on a monthly basis? If you do how much a month for a full hookup site…also do you have free wifi and a laundry mat?
Hi Susan!

What is a premiere developed campsite? Because I reserve 4 campsite at the Loop C (304-307) that say premiere developed with water. I’m doing a tent camping and want water & electric hookup.
Hi Dara,
I checked and wasn’t able to determine what a ‘premiere’ campsite has at Lake Skinner. It appears those sites are full hookups. For sure they have water & electric hookups. You might try calling the campground at: 951 926-1541, or you can call the reservation line: 800-234-7275
I want to make a reservation

Hi Jeff,
CampsitePhotos.com is not associated with the campgrounds listed on our website. We provide the photos of each campsite and campsite availability alerts. I recommend you try and call Lake Skinner to check, and/or visiting the campground and speaking with the ranger. Best of luck!
I’m trying to rent a picnic area for next month. I can’t get through to anyone on the 1-888 number. ? Is there any other way to rent one for a certain day next month. ?
Hi Michael,
The two phone numbers we have for Lake Skinner Recreation Area / Campground are: 951 926-1541 (office) / 800-234-7275 (reservations).
Is there Wifi available at lake skinner campgrounds??
Hi Fred,
Yes – Lake Skinner campground has WiFi (“SoCal Telephone”).
For the water playgrounds, is it open all year? Also, I think it closed at 6pm each day. Does that change during the year?
Hi Jun,
Here is the schedule for Lake Skinner Recrreation Area’s Splash Pad:
Splash Pad Hours: March 1, 2022 – October 31, 2022
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. | Tuesday -Sunday & Holiday Mondays
(closed non-holiday Mondays for maintenance)
Camping is nice. It gets 4 stars not 5 because on holiday weekends there is no patrols to stop the loud campers with their yelling and cussing until after midnight. Also the store is a let down. On hot days and the kids want an icee but the machine isn’t turned on or broken more times than I can remember. They had a descent restaurant about 7 years ago but it’s gone again. I’ve camped here more than 50 times so far.
