Lower Billy Creek Campground is located on the shores of Huntington Lake and has 10 campsites for RVs, trailers and tents. A handful of the campsites are right on the waterfront. All campsites have a view of the lake. Double campsites include 7, 8 and 9.
The campground is generally open early June to late September. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is fair in the ares.
Each campsite had a paved parking pad, table, fire ring/grill and also a food storage locker.
Area Recreation & Activities
Lower Bill Creek Campground and Huntington Lake offer a variety of outdoor activities including fishing, boating, sailing, swimming, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing and exploring the historic sites in the area. The lake also has a marina and boat rentals. There are a few stores and restaurants in the area. There’s also a museum in the area that has displays and information about the Native American inhabitants of the area.
Other campgrounds around Huntington Lake are: Deer Creek, Catavee, Kinnikinnick, Upper Billy Creek, College and Rancheria.
