Manker Flats Overview
Manker Flats Campground is located near Mt. Baldy Village and has 23 campsites for tents, trailers and small RVs (up to 16 feet) set among large pine trees. A seasonal stream flows close to the campground. The campground is first-come first-serve and is open year round. It has drinking water vault toilets. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.
At 6,000 feet in elevation, Manker Flats Campground is a great place to escape the summer heat and provides a good basecamp for hikers that like to climb up to Mt. Baldy and on other trails. Nearby Mt. Baldy Village also offers stores, shops and restaurants should you need supplies or a break from camp food.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes: biking, hiking, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing. Mt. Baldy Ski Area is also nearby if you’re into winter camping.
Apple White campground is located over in the Lytle Creek area. It’s also first-come first served and has 44 sites.

great place. We have been going to this campground, Manker Flats, for many years. Close to the city. bbq grulls, campsite tables, running water, fire pit, restrooms (not always maintained)
