After November 1st, maybe even the few weeks before, make sure to CALL the park office to see if the campground is open, or closed due to flooding. It was our first stop looking for a spot over this Veteran’s Day Weekend and it was closed. Got lucky enough to catch a park official at the gate who told us it often floods in the off-season. My full stay review will have to wait for a little while.
