Mesquite Spring Campground Death Valley National Park California
Mesquite Spring Overview
Mesquite Spring is open all year and has 40 first-come, first-serve campsites at an elevation of 1,800 feet in Death Valley National Park. It is also the closest campground to Scotty’s Castle.
Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and a dump station. A seasonal camp host also sells firewood. There is no cell phone reception at this campground. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are no hookups. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.
Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, biking, OHVing, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing.
Stovepipe Wells is the nearest ‘developed’ campground.
