Moraine – Kings Canyon Overview

Moraine campground has 121 campsites and is located in Kings Canyon National Park along the Middle Fork of the Kings River. The campground is generally open late spring through early fall.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (18 to 45 feet.). Each site also has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grate.  Accessible campsites include:  71A, 74, 103, 105 and 108. Campground amenities include drinking water and flush toilets. Generators are allowed from 9am to 9pm. Overflow camper parking is also available. The nearest dump station (summer only) is over at Princess campground along Highway 180. Cell service is not available.

Moraine – Kings Canyon – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.  A restaurant, showers and laundry facilities are also available at nearby Cedar Grove Village.

Other campgrounds in the area include Sentinel, Sheep Creek, Canyon View Group and Convict Flat.
