North Pines Comments & Reviews
Visited North Pines Campground lately? We'd love to hear about your adventure. Did you find us useful? Did we forget something? Anything our community should know before heading out to North Pines?
Which of these sites would you recommend for a large tent in north pines. 134, 203, 217, or 501.
Hi Milen,
All four of those campsites will accommodate a larger tent, but some may have a little less room between neighbors. I’d recommend, in this order: 203, 134, 217 and 501.
To be more specific, tent is 8 person tent 17×10. Does that eliminate any of those sites.
Hi Milen,
That is a large tent. Unfortunately we don’t have anyone on site at North Pines campground so I can’t confirm for sure whether your tent will fit in the campsites. I don’t think it would fit in sites 217 or 501.
So sounds like 203. Can you also rate 131 and 314 since they mention allowing large tents. Sorry for all the questions
No problem Milen – anytime! I’d definitely lean more toward site #314. It has enough room for your large tent and is nice and level. Campsite #131 may have room, but it’d be pretty close to your neighbors.
We will be staying at site 308. I’ve read that these sites are small. Do you think there will be enough room for two tents? One tent is a 6 person and the other is a 4 person – we only have 6 people but we like roomy tents.
Hi Celeste,
Good job on reserving North Pines site #308! Your camping neighbors (other campsites) are a little close so a 4 and 6 person tent may be a bit of a tight fit in campsite #308. I’d bring another 4-person tent as a backup.
I had big dreams lol! Thank you for your help! It’s been a few years since I’ve camped in the valley. I literally won the lottery to get that site 😉
Hi! Thank you for all the work you do in researching and compiling this. We are trying to go camping with a couple families — a couple of us won the lottery! Which set of sites would you recommend for 3 or 4 4/6-person tents?
Way to go Kristen – that’s awesome you won the North Pines lottery! There are several good sized campsites that will fit three or four 4-6 person tents. Here are some that will work: 101, 107, 109, 125, 129, 136(?), 200 (but next to restroom), 203, 215, 218, 307, 314, 502, 504, 506, 520, 526. There are probably a few others, but those in the list have a good amount of room. Of those, our favorites are 101, 107, 109, 502, 504, 506, 520 and 526. The ‘500’ sites are right along the river. Have a great time and thanks for your kind words/support!
