Oceano Dunes SVRA Overview

Oceano Dunes SVRA offers primitive beach and dune camping among spectacular sand dunes along the Pacific Ocean.  There are approximately 250 campsite areas with a potential to have 500 sites depending on operating conditions.

Amenities include vault and chemical toilets. Four-wheel drive vehicles are required for beach/dune camping areas. Campes are also required to pack everything in and out. All vehicle activity is prohibited one hour after sunset with exception of visitors camping and traveling to/from their campsites and the park entrance; and emergency vehicles and authorized vehicles.

Pismo State Beach North and Oceano campgrounds are also in the area.

Area Recreation & Activities

Beside OHV riding, the area is a popular place for swimming, surfing, surf fishing and hiking.
