Parson Landing Campground California

Parson Landing Overview

Parson Landing Campground has 8 primitive (tent-only) campsite and requires a strenuous 7-8 mile hike to reach from Two Harbors.  Kayaking 4.25 miles (from Two Harbors) is another option to reach the campground. Kayaks can be rented at the Two Harbors Dive Shop.

Campsites can accommodate up to 8 people. Each site has a table, fire ring, grill and locker.  A vault (chemical) toilet is also available. For an additional fee ($25), the locker with one bundle of firewood, one fire starter, a 2-gallong jug of water. To pre-order a locker, please call Two Harbors Visitor Services at 310.510.4205. Campers can pick up locker keys at Visitor Services before they begin their hike. We recommend purchasing at least one gallon of water per person, per day. Camping equipment delivery service is not provided.

Parson Landing – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Parson’s Landing is also one of the campgrounds on the popular 38.5 mile Trans-Catalina Trail, a rugged hike across the island’s interior.
