Pine Point (CA) Overview

Pine Point (CA) Campground has 15 campsites along the McCloud Arm of Lake Shasta in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. The campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. The campground can be used for single-family or groups.  The campground has drinking water and vault toilets. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring, grate, food locker and paved parking pad.

The nearest boat launch is 4 miles away at Hirz. The resorts around the lake also have watercraft and marinas with fuel. The nearest store is 23 miles away in Lakehead.

Other campgrounds in the area include Hirz Bay, Moore Creek, Ellery Creek and McCloud Bridge.

Pine Point (CA) – Lake Shasta Area Recreation

Lake Shasta has 365 miles of shoreline and the Shasta-Trinity National Forest encompasses hundreds of mountain lakes and over 6,200 miles of streams and rivers. Outdoor recreation on the water includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming and a variety of other sports. On the land visitors can also enjoy backpacking, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Lake Shasta Caverns is also located on theMcCloud Arm of the lake.
