Ramshorn Campground Tahoe National Forest California
Ramshorn Overview
Ramshorn Campground has 16 campsites and is located just off Highway 49. It is near the North Yuba River, but on the other side of the highway.
Campsites are surrounded by cedar, fir and oak trees. The sites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 20 feet). The best and biggest sites (11-16) are up the road. Each site also has a table, food storage locker (most sites), fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include water (not potable) and vault toilets. Cell service is not available.
Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, OHVing, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Cal-Ida and Union Flat.
