Rancho Jurupa Park has two campgrounds with a total of 131 campsites and is located along the Santa Ana River and behind Mt. Rubidoux. The 200-acre Rancho Jurupa Park has 2 fishing lakes (fish stocking schedule), hiking trails, a miniature golf course, a disc golf course, 2 playgrounds, a children’s water-splash pad, camp store, and picnic/day-use areas.
The Cottonwood campground loop has 60 full hookup campsites, paved roads, paved parking pads, a laundry, Wi-Fi access, and modern restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. Only a few trees provide shade to some campsites. Six cabins are also available for rent near the Cottonwood loop. All campsites have tables, fire rings and grates.
The Lakeview campground loop is more primitive, but closest to the lakes. It has 80 campsites (with dirt parking pads) set among large trees providing nice shade. There are 61 campsites with water & electric hookups and also 10 campsites with full hookups in this loop. Lakeview has drinking water, restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers, a horseshoe pit and a friendly campground host. All of the campsites have a table, fire ring and grate.
Campsite check-in is 2pm and check-out is 1pm. Cabin check-in is 3pm and check-out is 11am.
Lake Skinner Recreation Area is another beautiful Riverside County Park you may want to check out. It’s about 50 miles to the southeast via Highway 215.

Hi Charles,
You can view the Rancho Jurupa Park campground map HERE.
Is there any additional cost to pitch a tent right outside our motorhome for our kids?
Hi Nathan,
As long as the tent fits in your campsite. Have a great trip at Rancho Jurupa Park!
I don’t see on the map where the childrens splash pad is
Hi Brianne,
Click HERE to see another map of Rancho Jurupa Park. It shows where the children’s splash pad is in relation to the campground. It is over bye the park entrance / Camp Store.

I was reading the reviews on Yelp after making a reservation and saw there’s thieves that come by on the weekends. How is the situation now?
Hi Jade,
That’s too bad they are having issues with thieves at Rancho Jurpura Park. We have not heard of it, but I’m sure they have ramped up their security. You may try calling the park to see what measures they have done to try and prevent thieves: 951 684-7032.
For sure it would be a good idea to lock all camping gear up at night.
Will they allow early check in for cabins?
Hi Mercedes,
They usually do not have early check-in available for the cabins at Rancho Jurupa Park. The check-in time is 3pm for cabins.
So your website reservation hyperlink is not working and I can’t seem to get an operator to answer. I really want to make a reservation here but I’m not sure how. Is there another way to accomplish this?
Hi Mike,
We double checked our hyperlink to Rancho Jurupa Park campground reservations and it is working. The reservation website seems slow and having a few issues though but it looks to be working. I’d give it another try. Here is the direct link: https://reserve.rivcoparks.org/rancho-jurupa/camping
A friend with a class C (25 ft) has a full hook-up site, 240, invited me to join her. Is there an extra charge for the second (small) vehicle? Would I be able to bring my teardrop trailer as well (10 feet including the tongue)?
Hi Denise,
Campsite #240 has a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed in that site. I’d contact Rancho Jurupa Park directly to see if they would allow for another vehicle and the charge. I’m almost sure they wouldn’t allow another vehicle and a teardrop trailer. Their phone number is: 951 684-7032
How do I rent the cabin ?
That’s a good question. I don’t see ‘cabins’ listed as an option on their online reservation system. I suggest you call Riverside County Park reservations directly to see how to rent Rancho Jurupa Park cabins: (951) 684 7032
