20 Comments on “Robinson Creek”

  1. Philipwarren says:

    When will the campgrounds open?

  2. Does cell phone service work well among these campgrounds?

    • Hi Jen,

Robinson Creek campground/area does not have cell service. You’ll need to drive down toward Bridgeport to pick up a signal.

    • Just came back from Robinson Creek South. Here is what I found out. If you have AT&T, you can get 1 bar of signal (2 bars occasionally) if you stand in open area. No such luck for other carriers. 2 miles down the road, the general store has free WIFI. You can drive back toward town, there is an entrance to a range. You get very strong signal there.

    • Brad Vickery says:

Cell is available near the big wilderness Pine tree North of the Restroom near site 40 on the North loop for AT&T. ifi phone available at the store. have starlink so I have wifi calling at camp.

  3. Are reservations needed for Robinson creek north. Planning on being there October 29th

    • HI Sean,
North is generally open late April to early October. It appears (from Rec.gov) that campsites are unavailable, meaning the campground is probably closed for the season. You may try calling the information line for the campground: 760 932-7092

  4. Zoe Longsine says:

am i able to camp here if im only 18 or do i have to be older?

    • Hi Zoe,
I believe it is okay/legal to camp at Robinson Creek Campground if the oldest person is 18 years old. You may want to call Rec.gov to confirm: 877-444-6777. You can also try the Bridgeport Ranger District office at: (760) 932-7070

  5. Does the camp site have a nema 14-50 outlet so that I can charge my tesla there?

  6. Hello
We have a reservation at Robinson Creek S space 7. We’ve stayed there many times with an RV larger than 20 ft. I see that 7 says 40 ft allowed. Can we have 26ft trailer in space 7?

    • Hi Renee,
Unfortunately I’m pretty sure your 26 foot trailer won’t work in campsite #7. That has a parking spur measured at 20 feet long and the trees are pretty close to the back area – so no room for overhang.

  7. Stephanie says:

Are there generator hours? Or can we run it through out the day?

  8. Brad Vickery says:

PHONE AND SERVICES NOT AVAILABLE. RESTROOM IS A VAULT. PERFECT FOR ME.
