Stanislaus River Overview

Stanislaus River Campground 010

Stanislaus River Campground has 25 (first-come, first-serve) campsites and is located right next to the river in the Stanislaus National Forest. Spicer Meadow Reservoir is also nearby.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grill. Amenities include water (hand pumped), vault toilets overflow parking and trash collection. Cell service is not available in the area.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Spicer Reservoir, Big Meadow, Sandy Flat (Utica Reservoir), Rocky Point (Utica Reservoir), Union Reservoir East and Union Reservoir West.
