Steckel Park Overview

Steckel Park (River View) Campground has 50 campsites and is located along Santa Paula Creek in Ventura County, CA. Group camping is also available.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are 10 sites with full hookups. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers and trash collection. There’s also an amphitheater, day use/picnic areas and hiking trails. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is fair.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Tapo Canyon Park (Simi Valley), Kenney Grove Park in Fillmore, Faria Beach Park, Hobson Beach Park and Emma Wood State Beach.
