Stony Creek campground is located in Sequoia National Park and has 49 spacious single-family campsites in a forest of Sequoia and Jeffrey pines. A few of the sites are near the creek. Campsite #29 is a ‘walk-to’ site. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (10 to 30 feet). Each site also has a table, food locker, fire ring and grate. Overflow parking is available.

Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Overflow parking is also available at the campground. There’s also public showers, groceries, a restaurant and gasoline available about 1/2 mile away at Stony Creek Resort. Cell service is not available.

Stony Creek – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Hume Lake is also about 18 miles away and  offers non-motorized boating, fishing, biking and OHVing.  Popular day outings from the campground include going to Kings Canyon National Park, Sequoia National Park, Boyden Cavers and General Grant Grove.
