Love this website but for this campground the photos are not accurate for many sites anymore. We were in the worst site possible with zero shade from 8am to 3pm. At 3pm you can chase a bit of shade around so you don’t die from the heat. Too hot for many mosquitos but did find a few. Access to the lake is pretty bad too. Plan on a long red dusty hike to the lake and plan to share the spot close to others. And sadly we had camp neighbors that wanted to chat and laugh until 2am. Sigh. Not coming back here.
Hi Kelly,
Thanks for heads up on renumbered campsites at Stumpy Meadows. We will get a photographer to reshoot the campground and post new campsite photos soon!
Are the photos up to date now?
Hi Grace,
Yes – the Stumpy Meadows campsite photos are accurate. They were taken a few years ago so there may be a little more or less vegetation though.
