Taboose Creek Campground California

Taboose Creek Overview

Taboose Creek 025

Taboose Creek campground has 38 campsites scattered along the creek at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The campground offers spectacular views of the High-Sierra mountains and Owen’s Valley.

Taboose Creek is open year round and is popular in the summer. It does not have drinking water, but you’ll be happy to hear that it does have vault toilets.  Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. Firewood is also available to purchase from the friendly camp host.

This is a great base camp/area to fish, hike, do some OHV riding, mountain biking, stargazing and also enjoy the wildlife.

Other campgrounds in the area include: Tinnemaha CreekGoodale Creek, Lower Grays Meadow, Upper Grays Meadow and Onion Valley.
