Texas Springs Overview
Texas Springs campground has 106 first-come first-serve campsites nestled among colorful hills overlooking the Furnace Creek area. It is also a great area to watch sunsets over the valley and mountains.
Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, trash collection and a dump station. RV water fill up is also available at the dump station. Campground roads are paved and parking spurs are gravel.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers (up to 25 feet) and RVs (up to 35 feet). There are also several campsites just for tent camping. None of the campsites have shade. Generators are not allowed. Cell service is poor in the area.
Texas Springs – Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation around the campground includes hiking, stargazing and picnicking. Death Valley National Park also offers a variety of outdoor activity including photography, hiking, biking, sand sledding, wildlife viewing and star gazing. There are also many historic sites and and geological wonders throughout the park.
Furnace Creek and Sunset are other nearby campground options at Death Valley National Park.
