Tinnemaha Creek Campground has 30 campsites set along Tinnemaha Creek at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the Owens Valley.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and large RVs. Group camping (site #20) is also available. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. The campground also has vault toilets but no potable (drinking) water. Cell service is poor.
The creek has some decent trout fishing (stocked in summer months). Other outdoor activities includes hiking, mountain biking, OHV trail riding, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing.
The town of Big Pine is also just 10 miles to the north and has many shops and restaurants.
Other campgrounds in the area include Taboose Creek, Goodale Creek, Sage Flat, Upper Sage Flat and Big Pine Creek.
