Trumbull Lake Overview

Trumbull Lake Campground has 45 single-family campsites and is located next to its scenic namesake among a lodgepole pine forest. Some of the sites have partial lake views. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. There are a few double and triple sites. Each site also has a table, fire ring, grate and food storage locker.

Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Roads and parking spurs are dirt. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Cell service is not available.

Trumbull Lake – Area Recreation

The 100-acre lake is one of ten alpine lakes in the area. Visitors enjoy fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also nice up here in the high country. Aspens and summer wildflowers dot the landscape.
