Woods Lake Overview
Woods Lake Campground has 25 tent-only campsites and is located in a beautiful alpine setting near the lake. All sites are first-come, first-serve. Trailers are not recommended because of difficulty navigating the roads to the campground.
The campground is generally open late June to mid October. Check in time is 2pm and checkout is 1pm. There are 23 single-family (tent-only) campsites and 2 double-family campsites (#3 and #25). Single campsites can have up to 2 vehicles and 6 people. Double sites can have up to 4 vehicles and 12 people. Each site also has a table, food storage locker (bear box), fire ring and grill. Amenities include piped (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection. A day-use picnic area is also nearby. Cell service is not available.
Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreating in the area includes boating (no motors), canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Caples Lake Campground is also nearby (about 3.5 miles). Hope Valley Campground is also nice.
