Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area campground has 37 campsites and is located in a stand of oak trees along the banks of the Sacramento River.  Campsites are reservable in the summer and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 31 feet). Group camping is also available.

The campground has drinking water, flush toilets, laundry, hot showers ($). There’s also a visitor center, boat ramp, and picnic area. Each campsite also has a tale, fire ring and grate. Cell service is good.

Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area

Outdoor recreation includes boating, fishing, water-skiing/water sports, wildlife viewing, biking and hiking.

Lake Oroville State Recreation Area also has a couple of nice campgrounds including Bidwell Canyon and Loafer Creek. Lake Oroville is about 65 miles away from Woodson Bridge SRA.
