Angel Creek (CO) Overview

Angel Creek Campground has 15 designated campsites for tent camping. The camp roads require a high-clearance vehicle and are not designed for trailer campers. All sites are first-come, first serve.

Campground amenities include 2 vault toilets. There is no potable water available. Each campsite also has a tent pad, table, fire ring and grill.

Thistledown Campground is also nearby.

Angel Creek – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, fishing, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. The historic gold mining town of Ouray is also just a few miles from the campground.
