Aspenglen Campground Rocky Mountain National Park Colorado

Aspenglen Overview

Aspenglen Campground has 52 campsites and is located near the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The river is a short hike from the campground and Estes Park is just 5.5 miles away.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 30 feet), but 13 of the sites are tent-only. Each campsite also has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grill.  Parking spurs and camp roads are paved. There are no hookups. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and trash collection. Firewood and ice are also available for sale from the delightful camp host. Cell service is poor. Generators are okay to use (C-Loop only) from 7:30am to 10:00am and 4:00pm to 8:30pm.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, kayaking, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Winter sports include down-hill skiing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

Other Rocky Mountain National Park campgrounds in the area include Moraine Park, Glacier Basin and Timber Creek. You may also like Chambers Lake, Olive Ridge and  Jacks Gulch.
