Blue Mountain Campground PSICC Colorado

Blue Mountain Overview

Blue Mountain Campground has 21 campsites and is located about 1.5 miles south of Lake George. The South Plate River is also about a mile north. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers (up to 25 feet) and RVs (up to 40 feet). There are no hookups but each site has a table, fire ring and grill. Parking spurs are dirt.

The primitive campground is generally open mid May to early October (weather dependent). Campground amenities include drinking water (hand pump), vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is fair in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Cove, Riverside, Spillway and Springer Gulch.

Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
