  1. Someone disappointed says:

So fat not very good. The people here are very rude. You have to pay 8 dollars a day for each vehicle, including the one pulling your RV. You have to pay for the shower use, and you have to use it because there are no water hookups. There is no soap dispenser in the bathrooms, so you have to carry your hand soap with you just to use the restroom. The sites are not big enough to park your extra vehicle and they harass you about parking in your gravel. There are no sandy beaches anywhere that I can see. You get about 20 feet from the water and it is all mud, but first you have to climb over huge rocks. If you have children, this is not the place to stay. We just came from the Boulder county fairground campground and it was 25 dollars a night. No extra fee for vehicle parking and we actually had water. We did not have to pay extra for shower use either. If you wanted to take a long shower that was fine. You did not have to keep feeding quarters into a machine. I hope they keep making new quarters or this place will go out of business. Very disappointed.

    • All the CO State Parks I’ve been to require you pay for showers. It’s just how it is here. Sandy beaches are not really a thing in CO. Sounds like you just want to complain about some of the basics of non-luxury camping. That doesn’t make this a bad place to stay.

  2. Very good except one thing says:

Enjoyed the stay and campground is clean, well cared for. Great walking and biking paths. Employees were friendly, helpful except for lady at the gate. Must not have had her coffee or gotten up on wrong side of the bed.
