Cold Springs Overview

Cold Springs campground has 38 dandy campsites at an elevation of 9,200 feet in the Arapaho Roosevelt National Forest.  Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 40 feet). Sites 1-5 are pull-overs and you’ll need to climb several steps to reach the table/fire ring area. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water/spigots, vault toilets and trash collection. There’s also a small playground at the campground. Firewood is available for sale from the camp host. Cell service is fair in the area.

Cold Springs – Area Recreation

The surrounding area offers spectacular hiking, backpacking, off-road touring, fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding and picnicking.  There’s also some might fine wildlife viewing opportunities.  Swing by the historic minion down of Central City when you’re in the area too!
