Cold Springs is a small, but popular campground with 5 spacious campsites next to Stillwater Reservoir #1. Bear River and Stillwater Reservoir (the big one) are also nearby. Campsites 1-3 are closest to the water, but the others are a short walk to waters edge. All are first-come, first-serve.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Amenities include potable water and a vault toilet.
The campground offers easy access to world-class hiking and fishing. Other activities include kayaking, canoeing, backpacking, picnicking, hunting, horseback riding, mountain biking, ATVing and wildlife viewing.
You make also like Bear Lake or Horseshoe campgrounds.

I was in that area in July of 2019. Drove thru with our little trailer (17′ Casita) to check out the sites and found Cold Springs to be a small, funky CG. Didn’t see a good spot so we moved down to Bear Lake.
One thing of note was that we drove by another day and saw a large trailer stuck in the short, curved, entrance road. It was obviously too big to negotiate that tiny CG road. His back wheels went off the edge of the road and he wasn’t going anywhere, plus nobody that was in the CG could get!
Don’t know how it all turned out but thought a word to the wise might be good. If your rig is 30′ or 40′ don’t even think about turning in there!
Thanks for the comment/info Bill! And too bad about that trailer getting stuck. Definitely good advice – large trailers stay away.
