Dexter Point Campground Colorado
Dexter Point Overview
Dexter Point Campground has 12 large campsites (first-come first-serve) and is located on the northern shore of Twin Lakes Reservoir at about 9,300 feet in elevation.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring, grate and pedestal grill. You can have up to 8 people, 2 tents and 2 vehicles (or 1 recreation vehicle) per site. Check in time is 2pm and check out is 12pm. Quiet time is 10pm to 6am.
Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. RVs are not permitted to fill up tanks with water. Firewood is also available for purchase from the camp host. A boat ramp is also adjacent to the campground. Cell service is not available in the area.
Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, OHV trail riding, horseback riding, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Twin Peaks, Parry Park, White Star and Lakeview.
