The campground is great, with large sites and great views. However, the road to Jack’s Gulch is terrible. It is all washboard and several areas are badly washed out.
You might want to mention that Jacks Gulch Campground was overrun by the Cameron Peak fire and was destroyed. It is closed until such time as it can be rebuilt (hopefully). See https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/arp/recarea/?recid=36675 for more info.
Hi Dennis,
Thanks for the (unfortunate) info/update on Jacks Gulch Campground. We will include a note about that on the campground page. And yes, hopefully they will eventually rebuild it.
