Nice place
can you rent jet skis at this lake. If not is there a place close by to rent them
Hi Dawn,
We called the Marina to find out but nobody picked up. I recommend you try calling to check on jet ski rentals. Their number is 970-645-2828.
ASK LIVE CHAT ABOUT IF THERE WAS DISCOUNTS FOR DISABLE VETS KEEP SAYING DON”T UNDERSTAND 4 TIMES ITS EITHER YES OR NO
Hi Marvin,
That’s strange the Chat system for Colorado State Parks wasn’t able to answer your question. For Jackson Lake State Park (and all Colorado State Parks):
Colorado residents 64 years of age or older qualify for a special Aspen Leaf Annual Pass, available at a discounted rate. Colorado Disabled Veterans who display Colorado Disabled Veterans (DV) license plates are admitted free to all state parks without a pass.
We camped here last weekend 2nd weekend in June. Site 50 is a walk in/cart in site that you can’t pull up to but it is about 100 feet from parking space. It is right on the water and it is the closest to the beach. Not very private but the convenience to the beach made it very worth it. I would give the bathrooms a B- for cleanliness and the campground an A- for cleanliness. No bears but watch out for the racoons at your campside and bring a locking cooler. We learned the hard way.
Are there any cabins to rent or do you know if any close to sterling
Hi Mary,
Jackson Lake State Park does not have any cabins to rent, just campsites (260). I’m not familiar with any cabin rentals avaialble int he area. Perhaps someone can comment if they know.
