  1. I have #6 reserved. Does one park a popup camper on the road next to the campsite? Its difficult to tell from the photos. Thanks.

  2. This is first time staying here. I have reserved camp site 10. Does campsites have electricity? We have RV.

    • Hi Brenda,

All campsites, including your campsite #10 at Lone Rock campground do not have electric hookups. You have a nice site though – right on the river! Have a great time.

  3. Do you guys allow dogs at Lone Rock campground? I dont see dogs in any photos and the information doesnt say. Thanks in advance!

  4. I have reservations on June 8 and 9. Will tent camping at Lone Rock be open at that time?

    • Hi Pat, Lone Rock campground is still closed due to Covid restrictions, but (per Recreation.gov) it looks like it’ll be reopening around June 2. I recommend staying in touch with Rec.gov to confirm right before your trip.

  5. What sites have water access or are on the river?

    • Hi Alli,
You can click on the Lone Rock campground map button to get an idea of what sites are closest to the South Platte River. Campsites 4-10 are closest to the water and have access.

  6. Hello, is hammock camping allowed in this campground? If so, which site allows for it. Also, can I setup a hammock and a tent?

  7. Michelle says:

How many tents allowed per site?
