Lowry campground has 27 campsites (22 with electric hookups) and is located close to the Dillion Reservoir in the White River National Forest. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 55 feet). Sites 2-22 have electric hookups and there are three tent-only (first-come, first-serve) sites. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. A boat ramp is available in the marinas located in the towns of Frisco and Dillon. Cell services is good in the area.

Due to beetle infestation, most of the trees have been removed and there is no shade at any of the campsites.

Lowry – Area Recreation

The area offers a variety of outdoor activities including fishing, boating, hiking, backpacking, hunting, ATVing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
