North Sterling State Park campground has 141 single-family campsites in three camping areas and all are located next to North Sterling Reservoir.
Elks Campground is located on the north end of the park and has 50 developed sites with 30-amp electrical hookups. The sites also have shade shelters, tables and fire rings. Some campsites have tent pads. Amenities include drinking water, laundry facility, hot showers, and flush restrooms.
Inlet Grove Campground (seasonal: May 2 to Sep 30) offers 50-amp electrical hookups. Campsites have shade shelters, tables, fire pits and a grate. Amenities include drinking water, laundry facilities, flush toilets and showers. Chimney View Campground offers standard, non-electrical campsites, shade shelters, picnic tables, fire rings, tent pads, flush restrooms, hot showers, and laundry facilities.
The park also has a camp store, group pavilions/picnic area, boat ramp, playground and nature study exhibits.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes archery, boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, water sports, swimming, hiking, biking, hunting, horseback riding and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also popular here.
